The Paleo diet is similar in meaning to diets like: Primal Diet, Cave Man Diet, Stone Age Diet, Hunter-Gatherer Diet, and a few others. Basically, the Paleo diet way of eating consists of a low-carb diet that attempts to imitate what our ancestors ate before farming and other advancements changed our diets.

Great meal recipes!
Great Paleo ideas
Paleolithic Meals Definately Not a Boring Boring Alternative
I found the very brief but informative introduction to paleolithic foods quite helpful and informative. The emphasis is on the recipes and not the history of this particular approach to food and lifestyle. I enjoy trying different cuisines and flavors and definitely do not like boring and bland. The recipes that I have tried completely lived up to my expectations and this book will become a permanent feature in my recipe book collection. If I had one minor piece of feedback it would be that I would have loved more smoothie recipes in the collection. If you are considering a paleolithic lifestyle than this book should definitely be in your collection.
Very tasty recipes and a useful index of ingredients.
Tasty Paleolithic Breakfasts
The book gives a nice, easy overview of paleo for the beginner and then gets into the recipes.
They are well presented and easy to follow, with ideas for quick on the go breakfasts as well as for those times when you fancy cooking.
So pleased with this I have already picked up another of the authors books, read it and get back to enjoying your breakfast.
Paleo can be so tasty!
Since this cave woman lacks time in the morning to cook mushroom and spinach quiche or sausage frittata, she will be opting for a simple, but mouth watering blueberry banana smoothie! So good to read that eating healthy doesn’t need to be chewing on celery..!
Just what I was looking for
Given I tend to do better without a lot of wheat, dairy or sugar, breakfast sometimes feels pretty limited to me. Plus, I love to bake with my daughters but it’s so hard to find good recipes that are wheat, dairy AND sugar free.
“4 MORE Weeks of Fabulous Paleolithic Breakfasts” has just given me a huge array of new options. From muffins to pancakes to new smoothie ideas, I’m REALLY excited about a whole lot of these recipes.
The book also includes a number of nice pictures and a great index in the back based on the the various ingredients used. Enjoy!
