With a View – Nothing like a hot new bedroom
Another great book by Alanna Coca. Even though it was on the short side, I would highly recommend it. This story is about Ashley and Mason. She is a room designer and Mason has a bedroom that he wants re-designed. Once he meets Ashley the sparks start to fly. I thought this was a funny and sexy story. The storm scene had me at the edge of my seat. The dialogue between the main characters was fantastic. I enjoyed the phone banter. I’m looking forward to reading about Ryann – Ashley’s friend with physic abilities.
Leaves You Sighing At The End
Lately the books that I’ve been downloading have emotionally drained me. The main characters just seem to have too much baggage/issues (infidelity, abuse, afraid of commitment, crazy ex-spouse/boyfriend, alcoholism, trust issues, etc…). Yes that’s real life, but it’s so great to finally read a book about a guy and a girl who are attracted to each other without all the other stuff floating around. The author did a good job on just focusing on their feelings and the sweetness of a new relationship developing(with a little heat of course!). Very well written and you can’t help, but fall in love with the characters. Liked them so much that I wish the book was longer.
A nice change of pace from typically tormented lead characters
No tormented characters, no overwrought plot, and no overly dramatic obstacles to overcome. Instead, “With a View” is a short story of an architect and her sexy client whose bedroom and bathroom she’s hired to renovate. When they meet, the attraction is immediate, and the double entendres fly. Ashley wants to maintain her professionalism and not get involved with a client, but Mason is not making that easy. When he asks her, “Do you taste as delicious as you smell,” all bets are off.
This is an enjoyable story with “normal” characters, and the author writes with sensuality, not just sexuality.
Adorable Love Story
What a great love story. Makes you believe that there are still “knights in shining armor” out there winning the love of their lives. You won’t be disappointed in this book or this author.
